Despite her rough and angry-looking outer self, Maire is a rather mild and docile individual with a tendency to internalize the tangled of ideas and emotions inside her mind more than she puts out to show. Not a chit-chatter by nature, she will always mind her own business above everything else and is the last one in the room to judge others, but if dragged into a conversation she will gladly contribute. Quite a polite and mannered woman, she is organized and clean in the way she tries to come across with words to others.

As of being inner-focused, she can be rather distrustful of her surroundings if the subject is herself but is quick to learn how to deal and work with them, as well with people. She can be rather oblivious to feelings and hidden meanings though, as she is unsure of her very own at times. That can cause a few white lies to slip from in between her lips but she generally never means harm when doing so.

As a result of being left by her own most of the time, she is often trying to fill her time with work or small tinkering crafts, which she takes pride in and spends lots of effort into. Also very self-reliant, she is capable of finding ways to solve problems herself and fixing impractical situations, and will do so to help others out of generosity if they strike her heart strongly enough.

Meanwhile, her lack of initiative and will to make decisions is without any doubts her biggest flaw; she is more likely to do as told than to take the lead, making her a rather easy person to boss around. Her unwillingness and|or inability to share most of her emotions and feelings can also be a problem to her sometimes, for she will bottle them up for herself until she grows super frustrated and distant in mood for any small reason when that happens.

[History:]

Born as braktovan bastard child to the head of a somewhat wealthy family of farmers and a half-elf prostitute, young Maire spent her life being juggled around as if none of the primary business of both sides. Much to the surprise of the ones that got to know about the illegitimate child of Alencar de Lacelles, he assumed the newborn girl as a child of his own, giving her the support to survive and even his family name; causing his wife and children's chagrin.

All that but under a circumstance: As soon as the lass were to hit sufficient age for such, she would get enlisted in the Imperial Forces in the capital, following the tradition Alencar’s family was heavily raised upon. Out of two options, it would be either to inherit part of his land and become a farmer like most of them (which, of course, would never happen peacefully) or serve their country as a soldier and “bring them honour”. If his intentions were indeed that noble while also meaning to give the child a stable life, or to get rid of her by throwing her in the frontlines, that still remains unknown. What is clear is that her relationship with her father was exceptionally a monetary bond and rather neglectful on her mother’s side.

Growing up as a self-sufficient and responsible adult from a peaceful and mild childhood, Maire’s side hobby of tinkering house utensils and small gadgets coming from her youth would prove itself handy as she finally got sent to the Koben Forces; something that she did not go against. What at first presented itself as a way to kill boredom evolved into refined skills and mastery, as she spent years serving. At that point she was kind of certain that the best she would get out of life was her current situation as a soldier, which was kind of enjoyable for her putting the whole fact that they were now at war aside.

After losing contact with both her mother and father and as a matter of irony, it would be in the Air Forces that she would have her first major contact with anyone from her father’s family. Not a delightful surprise for her and neither for her older human half-brother, but they still do try to get along as their limits allow up until currently.
